Charlotte Storey was a professional saxophonist and actress before an accident and life-changing injury put an end to her career. The Back to Music project led by Dr Nuria (with the kind support of the Arts Council) aimed to enable disabled musicians to return to instrumental playing by providing technology and repertoire that supports their abilities. This is the final concert of the project, which has brought musicians, students and researchers together in the shared aim of enabling a return to music.
The concert had to be postponed because of the Covid-19 pandemic. Back to Music takes on another poignant meaning as all musicians involved perform their first concert since lockdown. The event will be locl-streamed from the University of Plymouth’s spectacular House performing space. Make sure to tune in for this unmissable event and Charlotte’s comeback on stage!
