Pete holds a BA in Sound Art from University of Brighton, as well as a PGCE in Secondary Music and a PG Diploma in Music and Music Education, both from UCL. A multi-instrumentalist, he has toured Europe and worked as a jobbing musician on piano, accordion, guitar, and double bass. A former head of department at an inner-London secondary school, Pete is now the co-founder and director of Lunar, a web development and software agency based in Bristol. It is this experience that informs his current research into algorithmic composition, exploring the functional programming paradigm as a means of succinctly articulating complex patterns. He produces and records as Cephas Teom and co-runs the Metr Music label. Currently he is studying for a ResM in Computer Music with ICCMR.
